About Karen

Karen graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.A. in Studio Art in 2013.  Up until 2010, her work primarily consisted of acrylic paintings, but more recently has expanded to include  pastels, ink and wood sculptures.  Though acrylic is her medium of choice, she continues to employ various textures with which to further explore new techniques and their results.  

 

Past commissioned work includes murals for private residences and paintings of various subject matters.
